About

Unsure Sheep is unique, rustic knitwear and fibre art handmade by me, Maria Theresa Moerman-Ib, a multidisciplinary artist based in rural Perthshire, Scotland.

My Danish grandmother taught me to knit when I was only four years old, and I’ve not been able to put down the needles since!

From one-of-a-kind accessories to hand-spun artisan yarn, my eclectic approach to making draws on my childhood growing up between countries bordered by the North Sea: Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK.

All my work is crafted intuitively and inspired by nature, found materials, heritage crafts and slow living.

I also work as a visual artist and writer. More of my work can be seen on my other website The Ghost Curator.
